Paul Rutherford trading as Tyne Valley Decorating & Sash Restoration (Workshop: Unit 4, Haddricks Mill Trade Park, South Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3 1QL) is the data controller under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We process your name, phone number, email address, postcode and optional property photographs under Article 6(1)(b) (steps prior to entering a contract at your request) and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in responding to survey enquiries and maintaining our 2-year workmanship and 10-year Repair Care guarantee records).

Retention & Your Rights

Enquiry records that do not proceed to a booking are deleted after 12 months. Completed commission specifications and guarantee certificates are retained for 10 years to honour your Repair Care timber splice warranty. You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data by emailing paul@tynevalleydecorating.co.uk, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/.
